Legal notice and privacy policy
Legal information for the website benthos.app, in accordance with Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
This is a translation for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

The postal address belongs to Lafuente Asesores, an external advisory firm authorised by Oksigenia SL to receive communications. Lafuente Asesores is not part of Oksigenia SL. The registered office recorded in the Commercial Registry remains as stated in its deed of incorporation.
This website provides information about Benthos, software developed by Oksigenia SL. The simulations shown on it (environments, maps, video, readings) are demonstrations with fictional data and are labelled as such.
2. Privacy: what data we process and why
This is an informational website: it has no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising. We only process personal data in these cases:
- Technical browsing data. When you visit the site, the web server and the content delivery network receive your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and technical data from your browser. We use them only to serve the site and to protect it against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and operation of the website (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Demo request form. If you request a demo, we process the details you enter (name, work email, organisation, type of organisation and, optionally, your phone number and message) only to answer your request and prepare the demo. They reach us by email and are not stored on the website. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to a possible contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Emails you send us. If you write to us directly by email, we process your email address and the content of your message only to reply and follow up on your request. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to a possible contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
We do not use your data for advertising or newsletters, we do not build profiles and we do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
Retention
Technical logs are kept only for the time needed for security and are then deleted. Demo requests and emails are kept while the conversation is ongoing and, afterwards, for as long as legal obligations require.
Processors
To run the website we rely on the following providers, who act as data processors:

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to privacidad@oksigenia.com, stating the right you wish to exercise. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
5. Intellectual property and links
The design, source code, texts, logos and distinctive signs of this website and of Benthos belong to Oksigenia SL and are protected by the corresponding intellectual and industrial property rights. Third-party names and trademarks mentioned belong to their owners and are cited for informational purposes only.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; Oksigenia SL is not responsible for their content.
